SiteWalk Privacy Policy

Overview

SiteWalk ("we," "us") provides a mobile app for field documentation. This policy describes what information the app may collect or process and how it is used.

Information we collect or process

• Walkthrough video captured on your device
• Audio recorded during a walkthrough
• Still images and marker samples tied to marked issues
• Marker timestamps and session metadata
• Task or walkthrough context you enter (e.g. site notes)
• Generated Field Brief content
• Optional speech transcription when you trigger on-device transcription
• Upload and session identifiers used to process your walkthrough on our backend

How we use information

• Capture and store walkthrough evidence you choose to record
• Upload and process sessions to generate a Field Brief
• Display the Field Brief back to you in the app
• Troubleshoot reliability issues or problems you report to support

Third-party services

SiteWalk uses third-party infrastructure and processors to operate the service, including:

• Railway and related backend hosting for API processing
• Cloud object storage (including R2-compatible storage) for uploaded session media
• Google Gemini for AI-assisted Field Brief generation on the server
• Apple on-device speech recognition when you use transcription features

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Account and login

SiteWalk does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the core walkthrough and Field Brief flow today.

Advertising and tracking

We do not sell personal data. SiteWalk does not use advertising tracking or IDFA-based tracking in the app as described in our App Store privacy disclosures.

Retention and deletion

We retain session data as needed to operate the service and respond to support requests. You may contact us to request deletion of data associated with your use of SiteWalk. We will respond to reasonable deletion requests in line with our operational capabilities.

Children

SiteWalk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
